Denise Thomas
A respected business strategist both in Arkansas and across the globe, Denise Thomas has more than 25 years of experience in international trade. She has built a career connecting people and products through bilateral partnerships that focus on ethical sourcing and sustainability.
Denise is passionate about helping small businesses grow and access the global marketplace, and she uses her expansive network to empower professionals with the tools they need to increase clientele and connect with the right partners.
A 14-year veteran of the World Trade Center Arkansas, Denise most recently served as the Center’s director of Africa, European and Middle East trade. But her career in economic development began in Florida, where she joined the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce in 1998. There she created a small business center with the U.S. Small Business Administration to house several chambers and centers under one roof. The location became a one-stop shop for entrepreneurs. A California native, Denise has made her home in Northwest Arkansas since 2003, when she joined Walmart as a recruiter. She worked with the world’s largest retailer to build strategic teams in diverse markets, both domestically and internationally.
Eager to share her talents and resources, Denise works to empower the next generation of Arkansas leaders by encouraging them to live complete, rich, harmonious, love-filled lives.

Drew Combs
Drew Combs is strategically located in Bismarck to assist the western portion of the North Dakota. He grew up raising beef cattle, where he experienced his first foray into the international market by assisting in importing cattle from Europe and Africa.Â
In addition to his experience in agriculture, Drew has over two decades of international and domestic experience in energy. He has lived and worked in the Middle East, Asia and Africa. Prior to his involvement the North Dakota Trade Office, he worked at the North Dakota Department of Trust Lands as the Director of Minerals Management, where he assisted in managing 2.6 million acres, most of which is within the Williston Basin. He has a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from West Texas A&M, as well as a master’s degree in energy business from the University of Tulsa and is working on his proficiency in Arabic. He is a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Pradeep Khanna serves as Interim Associate Vice President for Corporate and International Relations in the University of Illinois System's Office of the Vice President for Economic Development and Innovation. He also leads international collaborations for the Discovery Partners Institute and serves as Associate Vice Chancellor for Corporate Relations and Economic Development at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In this latter capacity, he oversees the Office of Corporate Relations and economic development for the Urbana campus. Before joining the university administration, Pradeep served as the Associate Director of the National Soybean Research Laboratory in the College of ACES at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

In this role, Amy oversees all Asian offices in Japan, China, South Korea, India and Taiwan. Amy’s teams focus on identifying and attracting Asian companies to invest in Ohio. Amy is passionate about supporting foreign direct investment (FDI) into Ohio.
Prior to joining JobsOhio, Amy was a project manager at Prometheus Investment Group. Amy also worked at Northwestern Mutual, Bank of China and China Merchants Securities.
Amy received a Master of Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University.

Martha Henry
A native of San Antonio, Martha Henry spent many years studying and working abroad, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe, before settling in her current position at the City of San Antonio's Global Engagement Office. As the International Relations Manager, Ms. Henry focuses on coordinating official visits to San Antonio, facilitating relationships with local international organizations, and conducting research pertaining to the city’s international interests.
Ms. Henry has been involved extensively in cultural and educational exchange, and has worked with high school and university students and adult learners. She was Deputy Director for the Open Society Foundations’ Scholarship Programs, based in Budapest, and worked at the Central European University in both Prague and Budapest. She holds a Master’s degree in International Education and Exchange Management from the School for International Training in Brattleboro, Vermont and received a Fulbright fellowship to study higher education in the European Union as part of course work from the University of Texas at Austin. One area of focus in her current position is the promotion and facilitation of San Antonio as a hub of higher education and research.
Ms. Henry is also active in the local community and very engaged in the restoration of the San Antonio River, one of the largest urban ecosystem restoration projects in the nation. She is particularly intrigued by the international attention generated by this and other innovative San Antonio projects and by the exchange of best practices with visiting foreign delegations.

Fanfu has over 25 years of international business development experience.
He has identified, negotiated and executed numerous merger and acquisition deals, joint ventures and strategic partnerships to help companies drive their global expansion. He has worked for major global companies such as Caterpillar, Kimberly-Clark, Eaton and CNH Industrial to grow their international business in Asia, Europe and the Americas. He also has experience in supporting U.S. companies in exporting their products to Asia. Fanfu holds an MBA in international business from the University of South Carolina, a master’s degree in packaging from Michigan State University and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Hefei University of Technology in China.

On July 26, 2018, Craig Allen began his tenure as the sixth President of the United States-China Business Council (USCBC), a private, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization representing over 200 American companies doing business with China.
Prior to joining USCBC, Craig had a long, distinguished career in US public service.
His last government position was as US Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam (December 2014–July 2018).
Before that, Craig served in Washington as Deputy Assistant Secretary for China (2012–2014) in the Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration (ITA), and as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Asia (2010–2012).
He served previously as Senior Commercial Officer at the US Embassy in South Africa (2006–2010), and as Senior Commercial Officer at the US Embassy in Beijing (2003–2006). When in Beijing, he was promoted to Minister Counselor rank in the Senior Foreign Service.
While on a foreign service assignment to the National Center for APEC in Seattle (2000–2002), Craig worked on APEC summits in Brunei, China, and Mexico.
Earlier posts were as Deputy Senior Commercial Officer and Commercial Attaché at the US Embassy in Tokyo (1995–2000), as Commercial Attaché at the US Embassy in Beijing (1992–1995), and as Director of the American Trade Center in Taipei (1988–1992). He started his career in government in 1985 as a Presidential Management Intern in ITA at the Department of Commerce.
Craig received a M.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University (1985), and a B.A. in Political Science and Asian Studies from the University of Michigan (1979).
