Jikun Huang 黄å£ç„œ
Jikun Huang is Professor at School of Advanced Agricultural Sciences and Director of China Center for Agricultural Policy (CCAP), Peking University. He is fellows of the World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) and Agricultural and Applied Economics Association (AAEA) as well as Honorary Life Member of the International Association of Agricultural Economists (IAAE). He is the president of Asian Society of Agricultural Economists and vice-president of Chinese Association of Agro-Tech Economics.
He received his PhD in agricultural economics from University of the Philippines at Los Banos in 1990. His research covers a wide range of issues on China's agricultural economics and rural development. He received Award for China’s Outstanding Youth Scientists in 2002, Outstanding Achievement Award for Overseas Returning Chinese in 2003, Fudan Prize for Eminent Contributor to Management Science in 2008, and IRRI’s Outstanding Alumni Award in 2010.

Helene R. Dillard was appointed dean of the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at UC Davis in January 2014. In addition to her responsibilities as dean, she has programmatic responsibilities for the college’s Agricultural Experiment Station and Cooperative Extension. Dillard has national and international leadership experience, including invited consultations, presentations and scientific exchanges in China, Central America (Honduras, Nicaragua), South America (Argentina, Brazil, Chile), the European Union (the Netherlands, Sweden, United Kingdom) and Zimbabwe.
Prior to her appointment at UC Davis, Dillard was on the faculty at Cornell University from 1984 to 2014 as a professor of plant pathology, carrying a 50 percent research and 50 percent extension assignment. Her research focused on the biology, ecology and management of fungal pathogens that cause diseases in vegetable crops. Her interests include sustainable disease management strategies, integrated pest management, epidemiology and host/pathogen/ environment interactions. Dillard served as chair of the Department of Plant Pathology in Geneva, N.Y. (1997–2001), associate director of Cornell Cooperative Extension (2001–2002), and director of Cornell Cooperative Extension (2002–January 2014). She also served simultaneously as associate dean in two colleges—the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) and the College of Human Ecology (2002–January 2014).

Dr. Cathann A. Kress serves as Vice President for Agricultural Administration and Dean, College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) at The Ohio State University since May 2017. Dean Kress has responsibility for leadership of the college which also comprises OSU Extension, research centers including the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center, and the Agricultural Technical Institute in Wooster. She is also a full professor within the department of Agricultural Communication, Education, and Leadership.
Dean Kress previously served as Vice President for Extension and Outreach at Iowa State University, overseeing the 99-county campus network for research and education and as full professor in the School of Education. Prior to her tenure with Iowa State, she was Senior Policy Analyst for Military Community & Family Policy in the Department of Defense, leading national efforts to engage land grant universities in support of military service members and their families. Prior to that, she served as Director, Youth Development at the United States Department of Agriculture, which included serving as Director at National 4-H Headquarters. She was also Assistant Director, Cornell Cooperative Extension at Cornell University.
Dean Kress also served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership at Miami University. In addition, she previously served as an Academic Counselor within the Women’s Athletic Department at the University of Iowa.
WALTER A. HILL
Dr. Walter A. Hill serves as Dean of the College of Agriculture, Environment and Nutrition Sciences (CAENS) and Director of Land Grant Programs.

Hill has been a faculty member at Tuskegee University since 1977 and Dean of Agriculture since 1987 at Tuskegee University. Currently Hill serves as Professor, Dean, Vice Provost, and Director of USDA 1890 Research, Administrator of USDA 1890 Cooperative Extension, and Director of the Carver Agricultural Experiment Station at Tuskegee University, and a member of the Macon County Economic Development Authority.
Hill served as Director for the NASA Center for Food and Environmental Systems for Human Exploration of Space for 20 years (including two space flight, plant growth experiments). He served as faculty advisor for student award-winning projects and provided leadership for the initiation of Ph.D. programs in Integrative Biosciences and Integrative Public Policy and Development. He also served as faculty advisor for the first online graduate degree program at Tuskegee University.
Hill co-founded the Carver Integrative Sustainability Center, the Alabama Agricultural Land Grant Alliance and the Professional Agricultural Workers Journal. He provided leadership for the Southern Food Systems Education Consortium (9 states, 10 yrs.), and the Professional Agricultural Workers Conference (18 southern & border states, 30 yrs.). He served as a member of USAID Board on International Food and Agricultural Development, and chair of the USDA Farm Service Agency State Committee for Alabama.
Hill has 133 publications and two patents. He is a founding Board Member of the 1890 Universities Foundation and served as Chair of the 1890 Council of Deans, Association of Research Directors, APLU Academic Heads Section and Black Belt Community Foundation.Â
Hill received the B.A. in chemistry from Lake Forest College, M.A.T. in chemistry from the University of Chicago, M.S. in agricultural chemistry and soils from the University of Arizona, and Ph.D. in agronomy and environmental chemistry from the University of Illinois.
In 2016, Hill was inducted into the USDA, National Institute of Food and Agriculture Hall of Fame. He has also been awarded the American Public and Land-Grant Universities (APLU) Association of Research Directors (ARD) Award for Excellence in Leadership, the USDA Abraham Lincoln Award for Exceptional Achievement in Rural Development, the George Washington Carver Distinguished Service Award from Iowa State University, and the George Washington Carver Distinguished Service and Innovation Award from the Carver Birthplace Association. He is married to Jill Harris Hill and they have three sons.

Professor Jing Zhu Jing is Dean of College of Economics and Management, Nanjing Agricultural University (NAU), and Cheung Kong Chair Professor, Distinguished Professor by the Ministry of Education of China. She is a Chairperson of the Agricultural and Forestry Economics and Management Disciplinary Appraisal Committee of the State Council Academic Commission of China, vice-chairperson of the Advisory Committee for the Agricultural and Forestry Economics and Management Disciplinary of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education of China, member of the Expertise Advisory Committee for the trade promotion center of the Ministry of Agricultural and Rural Affairs of China (MARA), member of the Academic Committee for the Agricultural Economics Research Center of MARA, and member of the Board of Advisory Committee of ILRI, CGIAR. Â
Prof. Zhu obtained her Ph.D in NAU before joined International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) of the CGIAR as a post-doctoral research fellow, with Research areas include agricultural economic management, agricultural trade, especially food security policy studies. She is a widely published author and recipient of awards for research achievements, and is currently undertaking a series of key research projects from authoritative national research foundations as well as government agencies.

Prof. SUN Qixin has been appointed as President of China Agricultural University since July 17, 2017.
Prof. SUN Qixin is committed to wheat genetics and genomics research for 3 decades. For his outstanding achievements, Prof. SUN Qixin was awarded a first-class and a second-class National Science and Technology Progress Award, and a first-class Science and Technology Progress Award of Chinese Ministry of Education, a second-class Science and Technology Progress Award of Ministry of Agriculture.Â
Prof. SUN Qixin has served as the scientists of National Outstanding Young Scientist Fund, the chief scientist of Basic Molecular Biology of Major Crop Heterosis and its Utilization, National Basic Research Program (973 Program), and Vice Chairman of Chinese Association of Agricultural Science Societies.
As a senior wheat genetics and genomics scientist, Prof. SUN Qixin has had abundant overseas collaborative research experiences and worked as co-researcher in Colorado State University, Texas A&M University and Canadian Ministry of Agriculture Winnipeg Research Center.
Damona Doye

Damona Doye
Damona Doye is Associate Vice President, Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service (OCES) and Regents Professor at Oklahoma State University (OSU). OCES is one of OSU’s two state agencies, both administered by the Division of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. OSU Extension aims to bring the University to stakeholders. Educators and faculty develop and disseminate research-based information to help Oklahomans solve issues and concerns of importance to them, their families and their communities; promote leadership; and enable sustainable and wise use of resources.
Damona is currently a Food Systems Leadership Institute Fellow. She serves on the eXtension Board of Directors and is the U.S. Vice-President of the International Farm Management Association. Prior to becoming Extension’s Associate Vice President in February, 2018, Damona served OSU as a farm management Extension economist and Rainbolt Chair of Agricultural Finance. As an OSU faculty member, her Extension programs focused on farm information systems, rental rates, land values, cost of production and risk management. She was co-leader of the OSU Master Cattleman Program and also provided leadership for educational programs targeted to women in agriculture. Damona has B.S. and M.S. degrees in Agricultural Economics from OSU and a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Iowa State University.

Dr. Shenggen Fan is currently Chair Professor and Dean of Academy of Global Food Economics and Policy (AGFEP) at China Agricultural University (CAU). Prior to joining CAU, Dr. Fan served as director general of the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) from 2009 to 2019.
He currently serves as a member of the United Nations’ Lead Group for the Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Movement. He was a member, vice chair and chair of food and nutrition council of the World Economic Forum.
He is a Fellow of Agricultural and Applied Economics Association (AAEA), and a Honorary Life Member, International Association of Agricultural Economists (IAAE).
Dr. Fan received a PhD in applied economics from the University of Minnesota and bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Nanjing Agricultural University in China.
Kevin Chen 陈志钢

Kevin Chen 陈志钢
Dr. Kevin Chen is Chair Professor of China Academy of Rural Development at Zhejiang University and is also the Dean of CARD, Senior Research Fellow at the International Food Policy Research Institute. He is editor-in-chief of the journal International Food and Agribusiness Management Review and co-editor of China Agricultural Economic Review. He is a member of Independent Expert Group (IEG) for Global Nutrition Report (GNR). He was an associate professor at the Department of Resource Economics and Sociology at the University of Alberta from 1995-2004. He also served as an editor for Canadian Journal of Agricultural Economics in 2003-04.
His interests focus on the impact of major shocks on China's economy, agriculture and rural areas, agri-food value chain development, public policies on poverty, modeling agricultural markets, and South-South cooperation on agriculture.
Nicholas D. Paulson

Nicholas D. Paulson
Nick Paulson is an Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Programs in the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics (ACE) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Paulson has been a member of the ACE faculty a nationally renowned FarmDoc team since 2007. Paulson holds PhD and MS degrees in Economics from Iowa State University. His academic research program focuses on finance, risk, and agricultural and biofuels policy. In 2019, Paulson served as Senior Economist at Council of Economic Advisers working on trade and agriculture.
Wendong Zhang

Dr. Wendong Zhang
Dr. Wendong Zhang is an assistant professor in the Department of Economics at Iowa State University since August 2015. His research seeks to better understand U.S. farmland market, agricultural water conservation, and Chinese agriculture. Dr. Zhang is also affiliated with Center for Agricultural and Rural Development (CARD).
Wendong leads the annual Iowa Land Value Survey, and co-founded the new ISU China Ag center jointly with Dr. Dermot Hayes in collaboration with Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
Dr. Zhang received his Ph.D. in Agricultural, Environmental and Development Economics from the Ohio State University in July 2015, and he also hold a BSc in Environmental Science from Fudan University in China.
