On September 14th, 2023, USHCA leadership joined the U.S. Soybean Export Council, a USHCA member organization, to welcome a high-level, six-member delegation from Henan Province, often referred to as “the Breadbasket of China.”
The delegation, under the leadership of He Jinping, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of Henan Provincial People’s Congress, visited St. Louis to explore opportunities for agricultural collaboration. The Henan delegation learned about innovative climate-smart agricultural solutions being practiced by farmers and corporations in Missouri, and invited the presenting farmers and experts to visit Henan in the near future.
