The University of Kansas Trade War Lab invites you to attend their upcoming Speaker Series, beginning with “Geopolitical Shock, Firm Response, and Financial Performance of American Suppliers” by Kexin Bai (Texas A&M University) & Quan Li (Texas A&M University).

Bai and Li will explore the topic: do U.S. sanctions make its firms worse off financially? They examine U.S. sanctions against Chinese tech giant Huawei, focusing on their effects on Huawei’s American suppliers. Their research provides nuanced firm-level evidence on the impact of sanctions on American firms.
