On December 14th, 2023, USHCA hosted the virtual event “The Importance of Student Interchange in a Post-COVID World,” co-hosted by International Student Conferences.

This student event featured unique insights from students in our community as well as select perspectives from representatives in international education policy to facilitate dialogue on the realities of U.S.-China student interchange. The webinar also featured firsthand experiences from leaders in USHCA Student Programs and the 4th China-America Student Conference.

2023 Fall Third Space Story Circle

On Thursday, October 26th, 2023, USHCA hosted its Third Space Story Circle program, in tandem with back-to-school spirit. This Student Event centered around themes such as belonging, identity, and cross-cultural understanding. Now that we are living in a “post-pandemic” world, this Story Circle encouraged students in our community to assess what has changed for them in the past few years and challenge them to consider how international events like a global pandemic can bring us closer together. The event was open to English and Chinese speaking students from all corners of the globe.
