MRCTI Infrastructure Delegation
Explore Opportunities for Collaboration
United States Heartland China Association (USHCA) in partnership with Mississippi River Cities & Towns Initiative (MRCTI) and China US Exchange Foundation (CUSEF) will host the first Infrastructure Delegation to China led by former Governor of Missouri, Bob Holden, and leaders of MRCTI to connect with investors and partners in China; and to explore opportunities for collaboration. This delegation will reaffirm the importance of working with China and build relationships to foster new business and trade opportunities that yield innovative global solutions to local infrastructure challenges.
The MRCTI Infrastructure delegation to China will stop in select top tier Chinese cities to meet with infrastructure investors and partners and see examples of the infrastructure success cases in China. Curated meetings will be arranged throughout for each project.
For qualified invitees1 of this delegation, travel expenses (including international airfare and all China travel arrangements excluding personal expenses) will be covered.
A Constructive and Collaborative Relationship
Given our two countries’ recent strained relationship, we believe it is essential we maintain a constructive and collaborative relationship with China. We wish to make the US heartland region a preferred destination for Chinese investment, talents, and entrepreneurship.
